Bellydance
Drills and Conditioning
Are you ready to take
your dancing up to the next level? If so, this is the class for you! This
class emphasizes the importance of conditioning and fitness for strong
technique. The first part of the class period consists of a targeted warm
up and strengthening exercises that will jump-start development of the
muscle groups most important for bellydance technique. Be prepared to
work up a sweat! The second part of class is devoted to dissecting and
drilling the basics learned in introductory technique classes. Drills
begin with the most basic movement and progress from easy to challenging.
Recommended materials: yoga mat, hip scarf, notebook.
Classes are ongoing, and last 1 hour each.

Beginner
Bellyrobics
Come and up your dancing endurance
by participating in this always energetic class meant to boost your cardio
by none stop bellydancing! Except of course for water breaks... :)
This
class meets weekly, and each class lasts 1 hours.
COST:
$12 per class or $86 for whole 8 weeks.

Bellydance
Combos and Transitions
Take what you
learned in the Intro Class and learn how to make it your own! This class
focuses on smooth transitions between movements, so that one movement
blends into another. It will help you to internalize the movements and
teach you how to make them flow from one part of you body to the next.
Each class will consist of a few combos, which will take individual foundation
movements and connect them in way which will further your understanding
of the muscles involved in each movement. Afterwards, take the various
combos and put them together in your own order to create an entire dance
that is uniquely yours!
Recommended materials: hip scarf, notebook, and good attitude.
This class meets weekly and lasts 1 hour.
PRE-REQUISITE:
Beginner Bellydance: Intro Level 8-week session
COST: $48 for 4 week session, $86 for 8 week session
